Q: What if I don’t know what kind of healing or guidance I need?
A: This is very common. During your consultation, Kelly with work with to determine what serves your needs.
Q: Do I need to be spiritual or religious to receive healing?
A: There are no expectations here. Shamanic practices are not based on religion. People with different beliefs benefit from this work.
Q: Does doing this type of healing affect my ongoing medical treatments?
A: The ideas of Western and Eastern medicine are not mutually exclusive and can work very well in combination. As a healthcare provider, I believe in evidence-based medicine and do not discount its value. Example: If you are not responding to treatment of a medical condition it may be because the healing needs to take place emotionally or spiritually first. Other interventions have a better outcome or may no longer be necessary.
Q: How many sessions do I need? How often do I need to come?
A: Everyone’s healing process is different. It is commonly described as peeling away the layers of an onion, there is more underlying an issue than you are aware of. Integrating healing takes time, honor your process and what feels right for you.
Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare for my session?
A: You already are, just by making the commitment towards healing.
Q: What is the difference between a distance session and an in-person one?
A: Location. In most cases the shamanic work is the same, by nature. There are some rituals and ceremonies that are limited to in-person.
Q: What if I need to cancel an appointment?
A: Contact Kelly as soon as possible. If you need to reschedule, accommodations can be made. If you are cancelling within the 48hrs leading up to your appointment, you may be held responsible for the session as it is difficult to schedule another booking on short notice.
